To Zaino or not to Zaino
I Zaino'd my hood to se if I could see the difference between Meguirers and Zaino and I can't tell any difference. I keep my car clean and have waxed it once in 10 mos. Here are the pictures. BTW mine is not a trailer queen it has 12k miles on it. See if you can tell.

i've only zaino'ed my car. washed it, then applied 6 layers of wax (3 one day, 3 the next). it looks like a mirror. the car is black though.

Rob,
I'm a Zaino to NXT "convert". Almost all my cars are black and on a black car, it's been a no brainer for me - NXT is the winner. I've now started to religiously use the NXT car wash AND the NXT wax sealer, I'm absolutely amazed at the longevity of my wax. I'm not trailer queen either, I've got 30k on her now and she still looks good.
I've noticed when using NXT on a silver car, it's hard to tell there's any wax at all. A friend of mine has a silver Honda Accord w/ 70k miles on it, drives it everyday, you simply cannot tell there's wax on it. Silver is just too damn good at hiding blemishes. Nothing looks better than a clean black car though

I had a black 78 280Z and loved the car, but it was tough to keep a mirror clean. Unfortunately cushioned abrasives and newer high tech waxes weren't available then. I had to use a "filler" called liquid ebony back then. It worked great but had to be applied with a power buffer, a real PIA.
After having the car for 9 years I sold it and swore never to get another black car. I love em when they're clean but if dirty, which is 90 percent of the time, they drive me crazy.
The newer ceramo-acrylic may be more resistant to swirling and is probably much easier to keep looking good. I might have to try a dark color on my next AMG.

I am with Marcus on this one. I am a large fan of Meguiars NXT products. By far the best stuff I have ever used on my cars. Save yourself some money and go with the Meguiars NXT line of products.
