I drive a E55T, SLK55 and 65 Mustang Conv.
It's amazing the difference between this board and the SLK one. I posted about this over there as well and while the post has 132 views not 1 person has responded. It's like we have our cars now so we don't need eachother unless there's a problem!

These are the specs I found for about that generation RUF.
1990 / 93 RUF Porsche CTR 'Yellowbird'
(550HP AWD, 0-60 in 3 seconds flat and 225MPH top speed)
This pic is a 1987 model!

She didnt run into the dreaded yellowbird. She ran into a Regular CTR. Now a Yellowbird is an entirely different asswhopping. That will make you feel like your driving a Jetta.

2.8 to 3 secounds 0-60 that has Enzo eater written all over it...
Enzo with a decent driver should get 3.2-3.5 0-60
The MC-12 uses the same power-plant as the enzo but it is a few 100 lbs heavier 0-60 3.8
The Zonda should achive sub 60 times with a driver that knows what their doing

It may be street legal in the UK but is it leagal in the US?
It may be just as fast but to achieve these times the people who would most likely own the cars, 9 times out of 10 wouldnt be able to get the sub 3 times.

Obsidian Black C43, Silver C43, Silver Carlsson E-class wagon, Brabus G-class
I got smoked in Wolf's SLK
Here's the U.S. authorized dealer located in Dallas:
http://www.rufautocentre.com/index.asp
They sold the black 98 CTR-2 Sport for $260K. VIN will also indicate if it's a real Ruf. They're legal in California after 7,500miles of driving. I'm not sure why that is, but I didn't bother to ask.

It’s amazing how a car produced back in the 80s can still compete with modern cars. Cars like the 'Yellowbird' are pure driving machines no technology no help it’s a relationship of driver to car.

Mini Cooper S
I have a friend who lives in Los Altos Hills that has a Ruf BTR. It's black with blacked out wheels. I had the opportunity to give it a try when I was there about two months ago and it was the fastest car I ever drove!
A Ruf BTR is a narrow-body 993 that started life as a normally aspirated rwd car but when you modify it to BTR spec, it gets a huge intercooler and a single big turbo. About 2700-2800lbs with 420hp! Trust me, it FLIES!
