E-class recall
Has anyone heard/done anything about the recall for electrical problems that was announced in March of this year? There was also some mention of an update for the brakes, but I can't work out whether that is a new update or the one from last year being reiterated.
I just called the MB assistance line and they updated my address (they had an old one on record, even though I had updated it myself on their "Owners Online" section of their web site), and told me that Germany hasn't done much internally since their announcement in March, but notices will be mailed out when they are ready. This is the same story my service guy at MB gave me about 6 weeks ago....
BTW, the service assistance number is 1800 FOR-MERC so if any of you have relocated recently you might like to call to make sure that dept has your correct address, even if you keep it current on their web site!
