Not really sure what this stuff is supposed to do, BUT IT AIN'T DOING IT.

I stuffed the wheel with rags to make sure rotor was untouched. THIS IS A MUST DO!! I still got a few spots on the rotor and brakes were real grabby for next 50 miles.

Anyway, pics pretty much tell the story. I applied JUST like directions said and then went on 50+ mile drive through highway and city traffic.

I would say pretty much identical....if anthing, the untouched wheel seems to look better, but maybe it's camera angle.

Anyway, if there is anything positive, it was that the treated wheel seemed to wipe the dust away very smoothly. Perhaps that will be the plus with this stuff....easy wiping or rinsing. Other than that.....repellent....my a$$.

Oh well. Will try a few more days and see what happens.

First pic is treated wheel with stripe wiped with finger...2nd is untreated.

Perhaps this should be on the General forum, since all MB owners have to deal with excessive brake dust. Personally, my solution will be to switch to different brake pads when mine wear out.

Thanks for the pics and info.

if you get new diff/ non-oem brake pads, your prob gonna hafta worry about wearing out the rotors faster than with oem pads. just something to think about when you pick up the ebc dustless pads.

why dome some people feel the need to say where posts need to go??? after a while in a certain forums we become pals and anything of interest if nice to read from fellow pals.

shocker a dust repellant is bogus. save a different pad or wheel guards we gots to live with that.
