Hey guys. Need some help.

My car arrived and Navigation system does not work.
I push the power button, nothing happens.
What can be wrong? Aside from fuses?

Does the rest of the command system function ? Is there a DVD in the player in the trunk ? It might take some time for the system to be picked up by the satellites.

 

The screen on my Command is busted. There is a micro puncture on the screen, I was only able to see that it's damaged in the sun.
Sound, CD, AM/FM works.

Can the display itself be replaced? Or do I have to buy whole new Command?

I looked at the trunk and I did not see the DVD/Nav unit immediately.
It is not in either pockets on the side, where exactly is it located?
Is it under cover somewhere?

DVD module in trunk is on the left side (as your facing the trunk) behind a plastic panel - turn the latches and it'll open up.

 

But then again... if you have a W210 E-class, the comand will have an integrated nav.drive. Not a separate unit, like the W211 has.

presuming that you have a W211...comand is standard...navigation is optional...does your car have navigation to begin with?

I just bought a Comand on ebay for 100$ with non working CD.
Hope I can swap the screen.
