Hotlaps with TK and McClaren SLR at Road America
Hi Guys
for those of us lucky kids attending the AMG challenge at Road America at the end of this month, we might just get lucky enough to get one of the hot laps will Tommie Kendall at the wheel of the SLR - I just received an email from AMG - also to let us know that there are spots open at the Graduate program July 31st.
there is an asterisk next to the Hot Lap in SLR paragraph - it says competitive performance requirement - I am assuming that they will make an award to the fastest guy of the day on the Autocross track or something similar - Chappy - hope you are going to be there!

How do I get an invite?
So, how does M-B work this? When I had my G500 I rec'd invitations to the Challenges all the time. Now that I own an E55 I no longer receive anything pertaining to the AMG Challenge. Strange, huh? Shouldn't I be on their radar after spending 90K for an E55, or do us wagon owners simply not qualify...

AMG Challenge = $X,xxx (I have no idea)
Hot laps in SLR with Tommy Kendall = PRICELESS!
TK oughta be able to get that SLR working pretty hard around Road America; I pity those poor tires...
