My previous best when it was stock was with a 1.8 60', I ran an 8.00 @ 88.XX. It seems that now, it's harder to launch which is killing my ET, but the MPH is good, definately shows a HP increase.

Your comment makes me feel a lot better (especially coming from a pretty good driver). I'm generally around 1.9 to 2.1. I am now realizing that when I hit the 1.8 (second time at the track), that it is probably the best that I can do on street tires.

Do you have your 650+ hp car back yet?

 

I would try telling that to the guy that I was right behind on my best run that ran a 5.83 @ 124.

1/8th mile is fun, 1/4 is better, but to get to a good 1/4 track in socal, I have to drive 140 miles.

Yeah, I have it back, and drive it every day, but I am still waiting for a couple more parts to show up, so that I can add a few more ponys to it. I figure it should be completed within the next month or so. I just need to find some time.
