Question Future Resale Value for 2006 E55

Anyone know how well the E55 does on resale? Is it better than the E500?

Is there a web site with predicted resale values? Kiplinger??? I cannot remember..

something fast
Check the lesing and finance section, the residuals for the e500 are only 1% better than the e55. Here is the link

https://mbworld.org/forums/automotive-leasing-financing/113676-mercedes-lease-programs-7-8-05-a.html

Although over the weekend I drove my cousins CLK 55 and the joy of driving an amg can not be quantified.

Don't forget that those are MB's own residuals. They are higher than the actual value. The MB leases generally give you a higher residual, but they hit you with a higher money factor.

The resale value of ALL E55s will largely depend on when the E63 arrives and how it's percieved by the market.
In general a new model being released has a far greater impact on the resale value of the pre-existing model than the same car just being another year older.

Depends...

obviously on how long you plan to hang in. These cars are falling, with 03's really beginning to take a whipping. 04's are doing a bit better, but still seem to be headed for mid 60's at the MB auction. I just have to say again, there is just TOO D--- MUCH product on the ground. When dealers are hurting, which most MB stores are, they've got to do whatever it takes to move merchandise. MB continues to raise its sales goals for US dealers, and ship more and more product. With new cars sitting around, it can't help but hurt the used cars in the market. That being said, an 03/04 at roughly 25k off the new price, with service and lots of warranty, looks pretty attractive. Just got a feeling it ain't going to be pretty with 30k miles or so...

Well other than the fact that someone RIPPPPPPPPPPPED THE ISH out of this one it is one of the cheapest I've seen. Imean 60k for a benz is nothing, but in 1and a half years WOW!

http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...p=y&cardist=82

and lets hope this is a mistake because wow resale value will have taken a huge hit if people are offering them at this price!!!!!!

KEEP IN MIND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 2004 ML55 so is this right?

I think $62K for a car with NO WARRANTY is CRAZY!

Also, on this miley one,

don't kid yourself. Benz cars are no longer what they once were. Where 60k used to be "nothing", it certainly is now. The quality of parts and raw materials ain't nowhere near what it should be. Someone probably will get a good ride out of that car, but I wouldn't take the risk at $62. Maybe a substantially lesser number, but...

Wow. These are very different than the numbers I just got on my C55 on 6/28

48 mo/15k mi – 42% Residual Value – Money Factor .00325 Base Rate
60 mo/15k mi – 35% Residual Value – Money Factor .00325 Base Rate
I was qutoed the following for a 2005 C55 on 6/28/05:

39 mo/10k mi – 54% Residual Value – Money Factor .00125 Base Rate
39 mo/12k mi – 53% Residual Value – Money Factor .00125 Base Rate
39 mo/15k mi – 51% Residual Value – Money Factor .00125 Base Rate

48 mo/10k mi – 47% Residual Value - Money Factor .00125 Base Rate
48 mo/12k mi – 46% Residual Value – Money Factor .00125 Base Rate
48 mo/15k mi – 44% Residual Value – Money Factor .00125 Base Rate

I went with the 39 mo/12k mi. MBUSA is running a lease special on 2005 C55's
