I cheaped out and bought the less expensive GT-1 model when they first hit the market last year. Lots of fun initially with questionable accuracy on 0-60 & 1/4 mile times. Also, it's best if used with a passenger to watch in order to avoid constant distraction. The novelty wore off rather quickly. Coolest feature IMO was measuring lateral G's. Made wifey very upset many times when i tried to keep outdoing my last G pull! I would recommend comparing to other meters out there before spending the cash. Bottom line...fun to play with, but don't expect magazine-like accurate results.

SL 65 AMG and E63s AMG
I found that it was a fun toy. Although it might not be as accurate as timing on a track I found that it was consistant so it could be used for making changes to see if performance upgrades helped of hindered performance. BTW mine is is not made by Escort and is not available anymore.
