I owned a 2000 E55 and just purchased a set of 2005 E55 wheels and tires on ebay. The seller guarantee that it will be a direct bolt on without a problem. I've since found out from reading this forum that the lugbolts size is different (12mm vs 14mm). I also ordered a 14mm ball seat with 12mm thread logbolt from Pure-Motorsport to make sure it will fit properly. my question is, will the 2005 AMG double spoke fit my car with enough clearance of the caliper or does it require a spacer.

The W211 has bigger brakes so their should be enough clearance. Here are the specs for the wheels:

W210 E55
18X8.0 et31 front
18X9.0 et35 rear

W211 E55
18X8.0 et30 front
18X9.0 et39 rear

The new front rims will go outward 1mm.
The new rear rims will go inward 4mm.

Jay, I've been hear all the time! Not as much posting, since the bulk of it here is mostly about the W211 E55. I can say the same for you - you have been the absent one. We/I have not heard from you since you custom ordered wheel dilemma. What every happened to the wheels you ordered and the offset problems?
