Plans For New E-Class
Ive been working on a project involving DaimlerChrysler's annual report and I came across something interesting in this years writeup. Take a look:
"In the planning period of 2005 through 2007, DaimlerChrysler expects to invest a total of 21 billion (Euros) in property, plant, and equipment. At the Mercedes Car Group, the focus of investment will be on preparations for the successor models to the C-Coass, the E-Class and the smart fortwo. "
I havent been reading any posts lately so I don't know if anyone has had any solid idea of when we can expect a redesigned model but this may help.

Yeah - it's pretty interesting stuff. You get a real idea about why we hear so much **** about the quality of MB. The cover story of BusinessWeek magazine is all about the potential split up of DaimlerChrysler.
