Removing Clips/Clamps from Airboxes
I am going to rewrap my airboxes since the adhesive backed Thermo-Tec keeps falling off. The last time I did this, I left the tops of the airboxes on the car, as I could not take the damn clips on. This time I want to remove them completely. Any tips?

It's a bit tricky to get them apart.. The clamps have C-clips on the top that hold onto eachother. To remove them you have to squeeze both sides of the clips and either twist or lift one side.
This is what I did:
- Grab a pair of needle-nose pliers.
- Using the pliers grab onto the top op the clip where the 2 raised edges are.
- Squeeze the the pliers and twist until the 2 parts of the clamp separate.
Putting them back together is just the oposite motion. Squeeze the 2 sides as close together as you can and push down so the 2 sides grab onto eachother.
I hope this makes sense..
