209 clk55 kill on 211 E55?

The only 55 N/A that is a match for the S/C 55 cars is the SLK 55, due to the low weight it carries compared to the C55 and CLK 55.
It's very close 0-100, but after that the E55 has the edge.

Scovit, no one is contesting that the C55 is a fast car, it's just that the E55 is much faster. The margin is greater than you may want to believe. Off the line is where the C55 may have chance, but on a roll the E55 will obliterate the C55. Having done so on many occassions to a CLK55, I assume the C55 has just about equal performance as the CLK. From a stop to about 100, they're very close, but from a 50mph roll, the E55 just simply walks away and actually "runs" away at 100+
You have a sweet looking and peforming car, it's just not powerful enough to hang with the E. No insult or offense intended.

scovit, a full second in a 1/4 mile run is HUGE.
We are talking multiple carlengths here. To put this in perspective, difference in a 1/4 mile run between the C55 and 211 E55 is the same as the difference between your car and a 330i, OK? Have you ever run a 330i? Not even close. Well, the E55 would do the same to you, and do it worse at high speeds.
