E55 2005 vs 2006

E55 2005 vs 2006
I need some help and advice. I talked to MB dealer about a 2006 E55 and he told me none are available. He said he might be able to get a 2005. Any great differences between the 2 model years? Also what should I be looking for the price of a 2005 vs 2006? I thank you in advace for any help and assistance.

That dealer may not have his allocation for 06 yet. If the dealer didn't sell any 05s he may not be allocated any this year. If he sells you an 05 I would insist on a discount equal to a year's depreciation. That's how I was able to afford my first MB. It was a 93 400E and the 94s had just come out. I got a $12k discount. Best deal and one of the best cars I have ever gotten. :p

The 06 change over has happened. Cars built after late July are 06s. Interior and exterior changes can occur at any time. For instance my 05 has the old style center console and after 2 mos of production they changed to the new style console.
