***CCW SP505A installed***
Just got my CCW SP505A's in today. I took it straight to the shop to have them put on and an alignment done. The car was dirty and I just took a few pics as soon as it was ready. I'll Wash her up soon and take some better pictures. I'm heading on a very long roadtrip with the beast, So when I get to my destination, I'll get some pics. I did notice that with the PS2's, It's like riding on air. Even with the SPort 2 Suspension setting, it rode so damn smooth like it was in Comfort mode with no suspension setting. I have the raised CCW centre caps on but John is sending me the flat ones. John and Chip are GREAT. I can call him morning, afternoon, evening, nighttime and weekends. He is so easy to get ahold of and after doing business with him, I would of even paid more just because of the customer service given. As soon as I told him I wanted the flat caps, he shipped it out like within the next 30mins. I am Super pleased with CCW's business and will be more than happy to do business again. When I get bored, I'll switch to a different set. My brother probably will be getting SP200's from John for his Supra. I took John 1 week and 3 days for the wheels to arrive to my hands once I ordered them. Talk about sweeeeeet!

I was gonna get some work done by Steve on his August Trip to the West Coast, but unfortunately I have to go outta town on this roadtrip. I wanted him to lower the car for me. I will get him to do it on the next visit. I did lower it myself today tho, just to see how it would look. I only did the rears to see if there would be any problems. There was 1 problem. I lowered it around 1" + alittle bit and it rubbed in just one spot while doing hard cornering. I'll post the pic below. When I raised it back to stock, it was fine. I think 1" would be fine too but didn't have time and didn't bother to test. I think maybe I can go 3/4 of an inch or 1 inch to be perfectly fine. I don't know how Victor manage to get away with it (maybe because his is exactly 1 inch. Luck you Vic! I think I'll just have to roll that part alittle if I drop it that low with Steve. But once Steve works on it, I think we can find a sweet spot.
You can see where the tires bent in the fender abit. Also you can see some rubber on the paint.

That's awesome Houston! I am very happy for you. I am glad you decided to go through with your order. I knew you would love them.
They look great and I am sure between both of our cars John @ CCW will get a few more orders. He is an awesome guy and like I said when I first started dealing with him.. You just HINT at needing something and he does it.. no muss, no fuss! That's what all vendors should strive to be like.
Just to give you another example.. John re-made a new set of fronts for me because of a change I wanted done. He didnt ask me to return the ones I had and he would fix them, he MADE A NEW SET and shipped them to me via AIR freight. He didnt charge me any deposit/core charge or anything on them and I still have the other set in my garage (storing them until I get them returned to him). He is the most easy-going guy I have dealt with. The fact that he trusted me with $1250 worth of front wheels and didnt ask for any money is amazing service to me.
I will be ordering another set of SP500 for my 993TT.. 18x9 and 18x12 or 18x13.
BTW, the tires didn't push up the fender well.. It is bent like that from the factory. Mine are bent in also. I noticed them bent in when I took my stock wheels off during test fitting the first set of SP500 John sent me.
I am probably exactly 1" lower than stock. I will measure my ground to fender height and post it to let you know. I can probably even go down another 0.25" and still be safe. I was going 150km/h through a banked corner and got NO Rubbing so I know it is safe.
Have a safe trip!

I've managed to drive 3000km from Vancouver to Ontario with the new wheels and tires. The ride was awesome on the new tires. I washed up the car a bit and took a few pictures here. Also, I've talked to John from CCW a few times and apparently we've come to one conclusion so far about the little tiny rubbing on the back. The PS2 295's have 2 product numbers. There's 295/30YR19 XL N1 (Porsche OE) then there's 295/30/19YR19. Victor has the NI ones and I have the other ones. I won't know for sure until I recieve the NI ones. Other than that, everything is awesome. John was worried that if he sent me new tires, there wasn't a shop in this small city (Thunder Bay, Ontario) that would do a good job of switching the tires so he opted that he just make me a new set of rears, mount/balance the new NI tires on there and ship them to me in Ontario. His customer service is amazingly unbelieveable.
Actually, One thing that really bothered me was that after British Columbia Province, I could not find any gas that was great. the worst was 90 Octane as the highest. 91 Octane was everywhere else. As I got into Ontario, I was able to do more city driving and I can tell the car was not running up to par due to the gas. In B.C it's used to being filled up with 94Octane since it's been born. I guess it's like having breast milk all your life and then you switch to carton milk. HEH
My brother buys 108 high Octane for his Supra so this time he bought me some too. I had mixed around 15-20 litres with the 91Octane and then my beast was reborn again. On a good note: The air is cooler.
Here are some pictures

Very nice!
I was talking to John yesterday and mentioned that to him..
I am running the Porsche OE tires from Michelin designated as N1. I've been told they have a stiffer sidewall.
Also, I am running 1degree and 1 minute of negative camber in the rear. That probably makes a bit of a difference also.
Houston, I would check the alignment on your car and see where your rears are at.. You must have less camber on the rear than I do and that is why you are rubbing.
I hope it all gets sorted for you.

When I recieved the wheels, I had them do an alignment but didn't ask for the specs. I hope these new tires will solve my problem. Nevertheless, It's amazing that John is even sending me brand new tires as well as new rears.

Not sure.. I asked him to make sure I have at least - 1.0 of camber in the rear.. He said he set it to 1degree and 1 minute.. Hopefully I am not losing my mind and he didnt say 2degrees 1 minute. I know I have the spec sheet he printed for me somewhere.. I'll see if I can dig it up.
Thanks for the compliment... There is gonna be alot more lurking under there VERY soon.

You can easily check your negative camber F&R, by simple high school trigonometry: just measure the distance off vertical at the top of the wheel and divide it by the height from the ground at that point, say 20mm / 530 mm = tan Xdeg. Then convert to get the angle in degrees. Stock suspension
is about -1.5, lowered -2.0 to -2.25 deg, Front and Rear.
Generally speaking every 10 mm inward deflection off vertical equals approx.
-1 deg camber.
