What's up with this?

Stopped by the dealer today to browse the showroom and see if my E55 was built on 8/20 (date given back in early July when I ordered it). It's not supposed to be here until late September so I am waiting patiently. My salesman looks in computer to check on the status...SURPRISE !! My car was at the vehicle prep center in Jacksonville on Tuesday 8/23. WTF ??? Totally caught me off guard. He seemed rather perplexed at how this could happen and couldn't offer a solid explanation other than "maybe they stepped up production". I can take delivery in about 10 days now, which leaves me in a bit of a pinch. Should I trade my M3 early or keep it and make the last few payments?

Isn't that suppose to be good news for you that your E55 is already at the prep shop? You should be excited. M3 and E55 2 different animals. Go for the E55 if you want a real best!

I'm definitely getting the beast ASAP, but I found it odd that the car is here so soon. I was told it would take a lot longer to be built and shipped here than it did. Guess the M3 will be my rainy day car until it's paid off. Poor me.

Why don't you use your MDX as rainy day car, M3 as track car and E55 as weekend warrior? Oh... is the MDX your wife's car?
