Here is the work order:
343 WMB (N/C)
541012 Test Program - After Short Test, Perform
343 WMB (N/C)
1 000-500-01-86 PUMP (N/C)
090000 Replace Air Cooler Circulation Pump
343 WMB (N/C)
CODES FOR CIRUCLATION PUMP FOR SUPERCARGER PERFORMED SDS TEST
FOUND CODES FOR AIR COOLER CIRUCLATION PUMP. PERFORMED FUNCTION CHECK PER SDS REPLACED PUMP WITH UPDATED PN
Hope this helps.

thanks for the good info markus!
does anybody know how long the computer keeps the errors after they occur? I haven't been driving the car lately, and the temperatures are cooling down outside. I'm afraid that it will be difficult to reproduce in these 50-60 degree temperatures.
nevertheless, i will try to do some hard runs to get the engine up to temp (with the aircon blowing )

P.S. The computer appears to keep the error code for a decent amount of time. The last time I had the boost problem was at the track 2 weeks ago, and I drive my car every day, yet the error code was still in the computer.

55 kompressor engine, like any other engine out there, has a water pump. It's function is to cool the engine. That is it, it does not have anything to do with kompressor.
It also has another water, "fluid" pump that circulates coolant through kompressor intercooler and heat exhanger to cool intake air temperature charge coming out from kompressor. That is what fails. It is a Bosch pump that fails. Sometime it fails intermittently, sometime it just dies. In either case DME will shut-off kompressor clutch when intake charge temperature exceeds 225F (255F on some earlier E55s). It will turn it back on at 180F.
When kompressor is off. There is no boost. With 9:1 CR and breathing through kompressor, 55 makes 230HP. You will definitely feel it.
DME will store codes for pump failures, however only a shop with STAR diagnostics can read them.
By now most MB dealers should be aware of this problem.
P.S. 55s K do not use MAS, it uses speed density for fuel and spark calculations.

I start having this issue last week and my question is if it applies to C32's as well and if it has anything to do with the new Service Campaign 2006-030011 that affects AMG Kompressor cars.
Thanks,
Ricardo.
