Hello E55 experts, I took my 05 E55 in for a minor sevice last Monday and they told me the guy shorted out the Command system. So they had to order a new one from Germany. Will the new command be any different from the stock one? The car was built in mid October 04, and I am curious as to whether there will be any difference in the configuration between the original and the new Command system. I appreciate any info you guys can provide.

You should receive the exact same COMAND you previously had..... if you are lucky and they make a mistake, you will get a EURO COMAND.... ha ha

nope - that is stored in the AGW

how the h@ll can they even short a comand to begin with???? It is not like it has a complicated connector...
