Can Drive 55

Mine is doing exceptionally well. I have not had any problems and it runs as expected. To date, I have had 4 competitive encounters. They were a Z28, an older Trans Am, an M3 and a modded ZO6. I feel like the Camero and Firebird were modded because they ran quite well. In both cases, I pulled them and was several lengths ahead at about 130. The M3 didn't run quite as well. He hit it first and took off. I floored it and went by him so fast, that I thought he must be looking for a parking spot. I slowed down and he pulled along side and gave me the thumbs up. He didn't seem upset at all. He waved and drove away. The 2 drivers of the GM pony cars were quite nice about it, too. They waved and gave me the thumbs up, also. The ZO6 was a different story. We began from a roll, I would say at about 30. I jumped ahead about a half a car length. He began pulling on me and caught up at about 100. We shut down at 140, or so. He was about a car and a half ahead by then. We pulled over down the road and talked for a while. He was very impressed with my car. He said that he had a cam, heads, and exhaust mods. I told him that my car was completely stock and it had fewer than 5,000 miles on it. He also said that he planned to get rid of his Corvette and get an E55.

i think that it's good for 320 or 500's to debadge it but a 55 deserves the badging.........hahaah, but then again thats me and sometimes it might be fun..........someone pulls up to you and think your a 320 and tries to step and then you show them up........

It is a little bumpy but I have been driving lowered cars so long it does not phase me. Car handles as well as you can expect a big sedan to. No rubbing at all.

could you have gone wider in the front? and is the overall diameter different?

Again...the rims really look nice on the car. I am just worried about rigid ride, or else I am ready to start the hunt today!!

Your car looks so damn good. When you can get any color E55 and any wheel you want, spend hours of research and thought on said choices, make a decision and think yours looks the best (as I have done), and then you see another that makes you regret your choices.....well, what more of a compliment can I give. TIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHHTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
