Battery weight
#2
picking up a 12 pounder tomororw from the Battery mart in VA. I had this on my S4....NO problems EXCEPT if you do not driven the car for 7-10 days it will die....so get a battery charger for long periods of inactivity.
Should reduce the weight by about 40lbs. Which is a good thing, but it is over the wheels so perhaps an adverse effect on grip?
Will let you know my experience asap.
this is what i had on my S4 and it worked! no problems. Wonder if this will be able to start the crank on our V8 motors?

SL 65 AMG and E63s AMG
I'm not sure having that lead weight sitting on top of the right rear tire is such a bad thing. Remember the times the E55 Wagon had? If you don't have a LSD it might be an advantage.

Sweet!!
Let me know your results...
We are from the same stable.. I have had 3 MKIV TT and an RX7 myself.
We love less weight.
Just need to reduce mass in front to make weight transfer more efficient.
