took me awhile to update this thread. the akebono euro ceramics are the monkey's nuts 
they feel great and the reduction in brake dust is amazing. never going back to OEM pads again. thanks for your help again guys.

If you are going too change everything, change the brake lines to stainless StopTech brake lines at the same time. This will further improve your brake pedal feel!
While you're at it, change the engine, rip out the seats, bugger it... take the roof off with a chain saw and make it a cabriolet...
