Battery Maintainer for E55 Winter Storage
Anyone know if I can use my Porsche battery maintainer on my 05 E55? I bought this battery maintainer from my Porsche dealer and it plugs into the cigarette lighter to keep the battery properly charged. Anyone know if this will work OK on an E55?

I'm not sure, though I don't know why it wouldn't.
I have a Battery Tender Waterproof 900ma trickle chager that works great. It's about $50 and might be worth picking up to keep the other charger on your other car. The tech support is good also.

As options, you can purchase:
1. Cigarette lighter adapter that plugs into the connector perfectly(about $4)
2. 25' cord extention ( about $10)
I have three of these units attached to different cars. One is direct connected to the battery that I just unplug when I use the car. The Ferrari, for example, has a battery that is difficult to reach. So, I use the cigarette lighter adapter on that car.
I bought mine from this company:

Doesn't the 355 have a switch under the hood (front) to turn the battery off? You still need a tender with that?
