Best Tint shop in L.A.?
For anyone in the So. Cal / Los Angeles area, what is the best place to get your windows tinted?
I want to tint the CLK500 and as we all know the windows drop down a 1/2 inch when you open the doors, what's the fix for that? Disconnecting the battery?
Also, I believe the Reflective Platinum Tint (25-35%) would have the best results for our cars, since it doesn't destroy the unique "Mercedes Blue-Tint"... Any suggestions?
Thanks, K

No need to disconnect the battery. when you open your door, by the door hinge there should be a black tiny cylindrical plastic push button. You push that button and the window will pop back up. The tint shops just put a peice of wood right there to keep the window up.

I remember reading on this forum several years ago that because of the tight fit between the glass and the rubber seals that the tint would scratch easily. Is this true and or do the installers know a way around it? TIA
