How many of you would be interested...
I figured I would go ahead and ask as I know many of you like to plan months in advance like me. In March, every year in Houston, Texas, there is an event call TX2K* (This year is TX2K6), where Supra's and Viper's meet for 3 day event. On the first day, we attend TWS (Texas World Speedway) for roadr racing, second day is Dyno Day/Show 'n' Shine, and the third day is in San Antonio at the San Antonio Dragway. Most like, this event will be held the weekend of March 16-19, 2006. I was going to see how many of you would be interested in attending, just to get an idea to let the guy know who puts the event on, to make sure it is okay.
FYI- Dyno Day is most likely going to be at RSI in Houston. They are a Kleemann Dealer and Installer, so maybe some people would like to come a few days early to get some "tuning" done! :v :v
Just an idea. Let me know what you think.
PS- I WILL BE ATTENDING WITH MAYBE MY SUPRA AND DEFINETLY MY E55. MY BROTHER WILL BE THERE WITH HIS SUPRA, SO I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A FEW OTHER AMG GUYS THERE. LET ME KNOW!

ricky.agrawal- There should be NO REASON why you aren't attending!!!! haha ALso the video you posted was a teaser to the DVD of the whole event. Good DVD, you can buy it as MVPMOTORSPORTS.com <- Hope I didn't just violate a forum rule!

The event is the most awesome thing ever. We all stay in hotels that right next to each other, and usually stay up until 3 in the morning shooting the sh*t.
Also, there are group dinners we attend where the sponsors talk about things and maybe upcoming products. A lot of people attend Treasures, the infamous strip club of houston. :p But all in all, I believe y'all would have A LOT of fun. Please consider and letme know if interested, so I can get it okayed with Peter Blach, the host of TX2K's

No no no...On the first day, most people caravan out to the TWS track from the hotel in houston, playing around on the way there of course...(some people think it's GUMBALL 3000 lol), and then a simple drive to dyno the next day, and then drive to San Antonio for that event on the 3rd day. No GUMBALLIN for me, I'm trailering the E55.

I was wondering if I could hike along on the freeway and just watch all the cars have fun. I'll only race someone if they were in reverse, and even then, I'll still lose.

Well don't get me wrong...I drive my car...it's my daily driver. But, there is no way that I am going to risk break two fog lights, or rock chips, or an extra 2000 miles. I'll drive it to dyno day, maybe TWS, but not to San Antonio.

Okay, Well I had a talk with Peter Blach, the organizer of the event, and he would love EVERYONE to come any type of AMG car. All the nitty gritty details will be available in the coming weeks. HOPE TO SEE Y'ALL THERE~!

i can meet at the track...i work weekends and would be lucky to get one day off.
i use to work at hrp...still good friends with the gm...let me know if i can help!
also...with the cool air coming in houston, we need to get some benz owners out to the track on wednesday or friday night...
i ran 12.01 stock with 500 miles...now i have 7k and 275 goodyear dsg3's on back...trying to bust into the 11's stock!
anyone interested in meeting at hrp, let me know!
