What weight oil should I use on a S/C motor in So.Cal?
Now that I have added a supercharger to my 55 I was wondering what oil I should run in Southern CA. The temp is about 75 average all year long because it is by the ocean. I was wondering if one weight is better than another to keep motor temps down?

I use the Amsoil 0-30W formula. Much lower friction rating and better wear rating. My car revs so freely.. The engine feels better to me with this oil.. Could be my imagination... who knows...
And.. No. I didn't do a before & after dyno.

I have read good things about amsoil also, how many miles have you been using it and have you ever done an oil anaylisis?
I'm thinking about trying the 0-w30 in my boat engines might be good for a couple of extra ponies!
