Pulls to the left

Hi

New to the team - just traded the Beamer for a new E55. It pulls to the left all the time - dealer says it's normal as i'm in the UK. I'm not convinced - any of you guys help ? Other than that car pretty good.

Sounds annoying

I've had several LHD mercedes and none have pulled unless there was an alignment problem...

It could also have to do with a tire problem such as a factory defect or pressure.....

When I picked up mine the delear told me that this issue was one of the known misconceptions about these cars. Mine doesn't pull to the left. I would go back to the dealear and ask them to take a look at it again!

Mine pulls to the right. Taken it to two different dealers and both tell me it's normal.

well take into effect that our roads are not flat and they are raised in the center to allow rain to flow off. so most cars when driving down the road will slowly go to the right. to test and make sure that it isnt pulling more than it should, to keep your car in a strait line going down the road should only require the weight of your left hand resting on the left side of the wheel if it requires more force than your hand resting on the wheel then you have an alignment problem.

Thanks

Thanks guys.
I'm in the UK so the camber of the road is a fair point - it just seems to do it more than any other car I've had. I'll take your advice & go back to the dealer.

Pulling to right (or left in the UK) is common but not normal or acceptable. Have the dealer install the camber bolts under warranty and keep working the problem until it is gone. Other things to look for are bad tires. Swap them with either a good set from a car that does not pull or L/R. Dismount them if you have to.

The car should track true on flat roads and pull minimaly on crowned roads.
