Brumos has always been great to me. Good customer service, friendly, prompt. Of course, they charge you an arm and a leg for anything they do, so they ought to treat me well. My only problem is its hard for me to get there from where I work - I am always fighting traffic to get there, not an easy place for me to just "drop by". How do you know Brumos - do you live in Jax? If so, whereabouts?

I'm in Orange Park, I have to schedule an appointment for Harmonic Balancer checkup on my C43 and on an ML. Lee, one of the SA's, has been ok at best...I know what you mean though. JAX is a pain to navigate with the St John's dividing the town in two. OP is a haul to Brumos....

My 2 cents and I'm out of here!

Not certain of anyone's race or upbringing out there. Having grown up dirt poor I remember what it feels like to be looked down upon because of our social status. My clothes were old and torn, the family shared 1 beat up work truck and our bungalow was under the interstate. Despite being caucasian, I can comprehend what it feels like to be the subject of prejudice. It gnaws at ones soul and understandably elicits comments like Mr. Renn Tech's.

Whoa! Just got back from work and saw this thread... It has gotten way out of hand.

First of all, it was not my intention to offend anybody and if I did, I do apologize. The acronym for Pontiac has been around since I was in High School (back in the 80's) so I just merely post what I remembered. I could have changed the N part but then it would have lost its original meaning. With that said, I think a few people here are a bit touchy on the subject and this thread has lost all of its original intention, which was to come up with some funny acronyms.

Rentech, while your Stable is quite impressive, you come across as a rich, spoiled and sanctimonious brat who is dying for any opportunity to show others just how rich and powerful you are.

BTW, I AM ALSO BLACK so you can take that and shove it up your V12 tailpipes.

To others that have contributed to the list of acronyms, thank you! There are some really good ones that I have not hear of before.

MUSTANG= Motor Under Stress Tranny Almost No Good.

Mr Sudo4re,

Thanks for that reply because I certainly did not think that was the case.

Wow, that took a left turn fast! So I'm confused; were do we stand now??? Is it ok to think what Sudo4re said is funny now, beacause he's black ...Anyway like he said he didn't invent the acronym, and I'm sure it wasn't dirrected at anyone or ment to cause offense. Just take it easy everyone and don't be uncomfortable with who you are.

a few...
All I have to say is thank God that is over. People will always start a war over anything even remotely close to racist. I think it's really funny considering the person who posted it up is the one it refers to and he is comfortable with it, which says the most out of anyone.

So anyways. I tried to find the one about Chevrolet lookin back over the forum and I couldn't at a glance, but wow is that one great. Well now that this thread is shot... onto another one.

strange nobody mentioned the fiat acronym

some people might percieve "Fix It Again Tony" as racist also.

In South Africa there was a local acronym that went

BMW = 'Blik met wille'

which translates roughly as "can with wheels" ...

Then there was also a saying my Grandfather used ALOT -

"Why is a Ferrari a 2-seater ?"

ans: "For you and your mechanic!!"

Not an acronym - but not far from the truth...

A Blond woman walks into a Ford dealership to have her vehicle serviced. She goes to the Service Dept and tells the man at the counter that she wants to have her Ford Fiso serviced to which the man replies, "Ford what?" She replies, "Ford Fiso". He says, "mam, I have been working here for 9 years and I can assure you that there is no such thing as a Ford Fiso". She says "YES there is, its right outside". They argue for a few more minutes and finally the man agrees to go have a look as the Blond insists that she has a Ford Fiso right outside. When they get to it, the man begins to laugh hysterically as he looks at the Blonds Ford F150.
