I will say that the ride with the new Yokohama Advan is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than 20" with the Pirelli Neros. ALMOST like 19s, you feel more of the road but the tire itself is quite smooth and the soft compound has a lot of give. I would recommend this tire to anyone wanting low profile 20s when it becomes available next year.
I like the wheels on the car, they look much better in person, but the next set will be better....hopefully they will be on by Thanksgiving. Here is a better shot with better lighting which I think does the setup more justice.

I LOVE THOSE WHEELS AND ON THAT CAR! I DON"T NOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WITH FULL FACE RIMS ARE ON THIS BOARD.........
WHO CARES ABOUT THE STUPId BRAKE CALIPERS NOT SHOWING>>>>WHAT? DID THE RIMS MAKE THEM WORK ANY LESS
EVERYONE ON HERE IS OBSSESSED WITH LOOKING ALL ALIKE>>>>>>>>
IF IT"S NOT A SPLIT SPOKE BORING DESIGN FROM AMG >>>>>>>IT"S A COPYCAT DESIGN FROM TSW OR THE HRE CRAZE>>>>>>>PERSONALLY THEY LOOK ALL ALIKE>>>>>>> ADD ONE OR TWO MORE SPOKES AND IT"S CALLED A DIFFERENT WHEEL/ SERIES! EVERY RIM ON HERE LATELY LOOKS THE SAME>>>>>>
THIS IS DIFFERENT AND VERY CLASSY>>>>> HENCE THE NAME E-----CLASS
DUDE THOSE RIMS LOOK BEAUTIFUL>>>>>> YOU WILL GET EVEN MORE ATTENTION WITH THAT LOOK THAN YOU WOULD WITH THOSE BORING SPOKE DESIGNS THAT LOOK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.
WAit till you see my FUll face design on my measely C class......it's gonna blow away any open face spoky design out there! Why? not because the spoky design looks bad, but because everyone else has them. Just take a look at every post that says "I'Ve got new wheels.......all I think is oh let me guess HRE 540 something or TSW or even amg itself........ All clones!
One trend that I do agree with is a nice fat lip....aka deep dish design.
That is sooooooo hot! Makes any car look aggressive and can even make up for such short comings as 189 hp LOL! (my car)
My new rims are gonna be full face with a nice fat lip just like those above and guess what they might just still be from a company called HRE! Just take a closer look a different style no one has put on yet. Hint Hint!

I wonder how these rims would look on a c class? can anyone photoshop it?
Thank You.........I totally agree with you and I rest my case about everyone getting similar rims all the time.

that later pic you posted definitely improves the impression those wheels make. very nicely done.
i'm still a chump for the stock AMG wheels; they're such an improvement over the regular e-class wheels, that's good enough for me. but if you can find a set of rims whose look turns you on and whose weight gives an advantage over what you had on before, you're one step ahead of the game!

every wheel in the world is "Love Them or Hate Them" especially the ones that come on the car OEM - that is why so many people change them to aftermarket.
Lee, I love them, they work well. I think MBZ is going back to full face rims. I have seen a rim on the new S-Class look like an updated AMG Monoblock II.

Have to agree, the brake calipers are a sight to behold not hide behind those wheels, they are a little over the top, just an opinion.
