Just heard back from Kim and we have the track for this Friday, 12/2 from 11am-4:30PM.
Should be sunny and in the low 50's. She will let us run on both lanes this time since this will be the last event until Spring

Man, have you guys seen January C&D? I'm really surprised the M5 ran 4.2 to 60MPH...I swear my car doesn't feel that fast, but what do I know I didn't think I would run 14.1 in my 750i

BTW, I'm bringing my RC Car as well. I'm gonna see what it does in the 1/8

Got your message Spero and I'm there. Did you get rims and tires for your car? If not let me know. If I can have my buddy come down, I'll bring my air gun and jack. You can make a couple of passes on my tires.

I considered bringing it down, but with the stock rear, I usually trailer it down if I'm running on ET Streets. Don't want to get stranded if I shear off a half shaft, the stockers aren't known for their strength And on street tires, I don't think I could beat a stock M5 
I raced it about 2 weeks ago at MIR and I was disappointed with the track prep. The faster cars were slipping and sliding all the way down the track, since they barely prepped past the 60' lights. Here are my best 2 timeslips from the day - http://www.ls6.net/images/z06timeslip.jpg Not much of a threat to your Mustang
We'll see. If the guys want me to bring my E55, I'll bring it... otherwise, I'll consider bringing my Z06.

Dude, those are some great numbers. I know it's not what you're use to running but it's still moving. I have to use spray to get into the 10's, I'm not there on motor. See you Friday, should be fun.

Hey Gang,
Looks like it will be sunny and in the high 40's for Friday......perfect!!!
I will be sporting some real shoes for the first time - 17" rims with DR's. I hope to get much better times then I was getting with my 19" AMG with PS2's. My new rims are only about 20 pounds vesus stock 19" AMG's (about 35 pounds), should be shaving about 15 pounds per side verus my stock set-up. I assume that my 19" PS2's are heavier then my 17" DR's also.
Luke highly recommended the BF g-force T/A Drag Radial 2, so we will see.

Glad you got the wheels/tires hooked up, Spero. Are you driving down on them or do you want me to bring along tools/jack/impact to swap them at the track?

No set time. We are a small group of friends so I am sure the M5 will run against many cars all day. Heck, I may drive the M5 and have Alex smoke me in my K2 E55
