Tailpipe cleanup

Hey guys,

What are you using to clean up the carbon build up on the tailpipes? I'm finding it harder and harder to get that stuff off with the traditional chrome polish

Nevr dull works great. Comes in a can of wadded cotton, pull off a piece and go to town.

Agreed, but use disposable gloves and avoid the residual skin stink.

Sorry, I assumed anyone who smells that stuff will know to use gloves

One thing I have found is that if you wipe the black off each time you wash your car, it keeps it from building up. I rarely have to use polish now.

a few...
I have found that true too. If you wipe it down periodically, the buildup isn't as bad and its a lot easier in the long run. I use BlueMagic Metal Polish Cream. It seems to work well after some long effort...
