Anyone tried Evosport Cooling upgrade w/ Kleemann K2
Just wondering if anyone has tried the Evo cooling upgrade with the Kleemann upgrade packages. I know several will say don't mix and match, but I have a set of Kleemann headers sitting in my garage that I bought for a good price, so I would just go with Kleemann performance upgrades. However, I like the idea of a more extensive cooling upgrade than just replacing the pump like Kleemann does. Thoughts/Comments?

I think there are some who have done just that. I would think it will be just fine. My interpretation of the don't mix rule is for performance items, e.g. pulley, ECU, and exhaust systems. These should all be from the same manufacturer.

can drive 55,
While that idea has some merit, it's not completely true. Manufacturers are saying that just because, of course, they want you to purchase all your parts from them. They are running a business after all

My buddy Derrick here in md has the Kleemann Pulley/ECU and EvoSport headers and has the fastest W211 E55 on record for not using NOS. He ran the 1/4 in 11.52 sec's.
That should answer your question The biggest benefit you get by keeping all mods from the same company is troubleshooting.

Same here. Kleemann headers, ECU, and IC, but kept Renntech Pulley. When I went with Kleemann Cory told me that Renntech's pulley is very good, and no need to replace it. I really appreciated his honesty in that he did not try to sell me his pulley while buying his other stuff. I also considered the Evo cooling mod. Didn't want to spend the money or have the much more involved install.

I have the Kleemann K-1, and the Evosport cooling mod. Planning on the K-2 upgrade soon.
I couldn't be more pleased with the current set-up.
The cooling mod works and has all of the advantages advertised.
Almost 5.000 miles now. The Evosport cooling mod will only improve any engine upgrade
I have had my local tech run a few temp tests and is completely convinced that it does cool the Intercooler much more efficiently/effectively.

Marcus, I agree. That makes sense to me. But I think that I read somewhere on this forum that someone said that the Renntech pulley was a different diameter form the Kleemann. If that is true, then I would think the ECU programming should match the amount of boost produced. Right? Or am I getting my facts mixed up?

I understand. I am only saying that there have been posts in the past that inferred what I said (the same manufacture thing). I am not referring to you in any way.
