A buddy of mine used this on his 996tt. It dropped the intake temps 6-8 degrees on a car producing over 800hp. I think it made since on a rear engine car with a high amount of heat soak. However, on ours with a front mounted engine and lots of air flow thru the grill it would not make since, unless you spend a ton of time in traffic. The same would go for exhaust wrap. Just my 2 cents.

Been there, done that..
I've wrapped just about everything that can be wrapped.
I used this stuff which I found to be easier to bend and mould to the intake tubes: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...h.asp&x=15&y=7

Hey Victor how far along are you on your quest? What are the best HP & TQ numbers so far and best drag times.
Maybe one of these days when you get there you can fill us all in on what worked well and what was a waste of time.

I've got a dyno tentatively scheduled for this Friday evening. If I make it, , I'll post some more info along with new dyno sheet.

It's the exhaust that gets to high temps. In that case you need to buy another product for that purpose. I bought a 50 foot roll of black header wrap and wrapped from just behind the header as far back as I could. My headers were already ceramic coated, so no need to wrap those.
