My lease ends in June and I have two options, extend it through October in hopes of getting a 63 by then or Get another 55. Anybody have any clue when we'll be able to get it?

It definitely won't be in the US by June. ML63 comes first in July, then all the other AMGs will follow. Don't count on E63 until Dec. '06 at the earliest, but most likely will arive Feb./Mar. of '07....

Not buyin' that. I think that it may be here as early as June or July - and almost for sure by early November.....

What makes you say that Clay? I've talked to the dealer multiple times and they still can't order it/its not in the system?

When I was at MB USA last October, Rob Allen told the group that the E63 should be in the US late summer (August timeframe).

Rob Allen told alot of poeple at the Challenge Events that they would be bringing the cars here to the States before the end of the Summer.
I think that it is possible that we will see early models in some dealers' showrooms as early as the end of June or duirng July to promote the car.

Since they just built a new E factory in China, and since they just built a huge expansion onto the Tuscaloosa AL plant her in the States; and since they've just introduced the new ML, the new S, and the new GL; and will be introducing the AMG versions of the ML and the R this year; and since 40% or whatever of their AMG sales occur in the US, and they need the profitability -- all of this says to me that maybe the old production rules and timeframes might no longer apply. Maybe we won't see the MY end in June, July off to retool or whatever, and we see the cars in the Fall pattern this year...or anymore.
It is all conjecture on my part. I am NOT in the know (but I'm working on that ). So maybe I don't know what I'm talking about...maybe my guess at this is wrong. It is just my opinion, and I am saying, "may" and "might"..
