Tranny setting....does it mess with throttle response at all??

Just read about how the S C and M settings each effect the throttle response on the V12 differently and got thinking about ours.

Obviously with over 700 ft lbs of torque, that would make sense on the 12, but does it do anything on our 8's.

Just curious.

That is a great question, as most of your's are. I haven't noticed any difference in any of the settings on mine. Have you noticed any?

Subjectively, I think it does. I don't have any data logging to prove such a thing though. The fact that the lock-up torque convertor is more active in M mode would cause a sensation that the throttle response is more "direct", which may be what I am noticing.

We gotta find this out.....obviously then it would be which is the best reponse...S or M. I would guess M as it caters to the F1 Track thing, but S is for Sport, so who knows.
