Took new Z06 to Spring Mountain Teusday and Wednesday. It is the top gun. I put space on a Gallardo with Dave Roberts driving the Gallardo. I then let the Gallardo pass, let him get some space, then caught it with in 4 turns. I then presured Dave so much that he steped the back end out 2 times. Then he wavied me past.

On the way home I got car to 180 mph!! WOW I am in love with a car.

Where are you getting your mods done? I had a ride in one with the Kooks headers and they were great. I am gonna do the Kooks headers but I am waiting for tuning to be available first. Anybody has tuning ready yet?

 

How was it at 180? Pretty stable?

Great Stuff, draggincents. I passed on the C6 Z06 (about the 10th time I've decided at the last minute not to get a Z06 for a track car in the last 4 years! ) -- and you're certainly making me (once again) reconsider one...Dammit!

Don't mod that horse until you've had the enjoyment of wringing every last fleck of sweat off of running it at SMMP over the next few/several months. Then mod it.

What are you using for track tires, if you haven't said so already?

And I want to hear more as you continue to enjoy her....

this forum, AMG 210, 211, is home to many present and past owners of E55s and some have moved on to other cars but we like hearing about them and what the cars can do. IMHO

now im really considering getting 1 after my lease is over, u make 180mph seem so easy, i dont mind the speed, just not enough road to safely get to 150+ in my car, 130-140 is a daily thing though

 

anyone know where u can get it for MSRP...or are they still commanding a premium?

The Corvette forum is all a bunch of red neck a holes. I am not a Vette guy I have hated them for ever. But the new Z06 is unbeatable. I like being the guy in the 4 door then smoling a Vette. I have post on the Vette forum. But when I post that I went 180 mph in the Vette. The moderator shut down my post. I then found out why. In his signiture it says the the fastest he has had his Vetee was 179mph. Because I went faster he shut me down. A hole.

 

I ran her all stock this time. I want to know how each mod effects the performance.

 

Never been to a vette forum.... but now I no longer wonder why my friend who has C6 is never active in vette forum
