What do you think about these tires?
They are only $550 for a set of 19s from tirerack and the ratings are not that much different from more expensive tires.

Put a set on my wife's E55 2 months ago and they handle pretty well and are quiet. So far so good.

They don't sound too bad. The risk will be about $550 sounds like....

RISK... what are you going to do Le Man's... there is no risk... they fit our cars... therefore the RISK is $550 out of pocket... there are better but I've looked at these tires too... they get good ratings from users...

'14 E63s Estate, '21 RR P525, '22 GMC 2500, '23 G63
for the price you could probably just get a set of Falken Azenis ST115's. I had those my S4, E500 our C and they work well in wet/dry and perform very good for the price.
Got great prices at america's tire co. think it was right around $600 for 18's. 19's were around 700 with warranties on the E500. The good old price match.

I went with a set of dunlops for about 700.00 for the set and so far they are very good. Softer then the factory conti's and they even feel as good as the mich pilot AS on th E46 my fiance drives.

SL 65 AMG and E63s AMG
As I recall General tires are made by Continental. I for one hated my stock Contis. BEWARE.
