Going Backward??

This was a great learning experence . My reaction times have improved vastly Back in Dec .348 and higher. Last night. R/T . In order .071,.053.049,.044, .033 , .008 Oh Yeaah I saw a few red ones to . Now thats backward.

All the time my traction was going away. Getting worse. I started with 17. psi in the rear. Then after 7 runs . The light comes on THA?? I rechecked the tire air pressure It was back up to 21 psi!!!! Dropped it back to 16 psi , Bam
12.77s & 66s

DiD you notice that SLK 5.5 Renntech. Had a 5 speed manual gearbox ?? Why was that GUY double clutching Between gear changes . Now that seems Backward to Me

If any body that was running that would like a larger video or a DVD please let me know what format you would prefer.

PTE - What tires were you running?

By the way, at my last track day, my 60 foot times started to get worse as my gas tank level dropped. I ran out and put $10 worth of gas in the car and my 60 foot times dropped back down to the 1.8's.

Manual Shift SLK

The owner of the car was not present. I know the car ,Alittle. The guy running it , Admited that it was his customers car. He was about 5'8" had a slight European Accent, Look a little like ELVIS. IMO. I think it was Helmut of RennTech. I will check my sources

Renntech SLK55 times?

Do any of you remember the times that the Renntech SLK55 was putting down? When I called Renntech about thier Supercharger they mentioned a customer's car doing low 11's. (11.2? I think that was what he said but I'm not sure)

I'm not sure what his best time that night was, I'm pretty sure I saw 117MPH trap speeds though..... I have to look through the video footage...

Confirmed today that it ran a couple times and was doing around 12.1 12.2 ... they are going to be tuning it a bit more ... and hope to get it to the mid 11s.
Don't believe it had a manual.

Very solid times.. Morroso sounds like a great track! any times for the cts-V? 12.4@118 for the M5 is great too for beeing on 20 inch radials. 12 flat is amazing for a stock E55!! anyone ever try experimenting with 100 octane? removing filters completely? and little weight reduction. Perhaps its already been done?

I tried adding some 100 octane fuel, made no difference.... trap speeds stayed the same.... I didn't remove my filters.... I tried that once in the C32 I had, and there was no difference so I didn't bother.....

not sure what the CTS-V's best time was, I know I saw mid-high 13's....

hmm ic.. Its probably running on the rich side from the factory then. Maybe like the M computers they need a little time to adapt to any changes made to the engine. Thats strange, I cant see how removing filters and running it direct through the ram air tunnels wouldnt help.. especially on a f/I motor. Next time PLEASE post videos of these beautifull machines!!!! thanks! seen the videos of the rentech sl65 and it blew my SOCKS OFF!!
