Does this sound right?

Hey I bought my 2005 E55 on December 26 with just about 8,000 miles on it. It is a Certified Pre-Owned car. The car now has about 9,600 miles on it and the brakes are squeaking. I am going to be taking it into the dealership on Monday but I am just curious what I should expect. If it is indeed the pads that need to be replaced would I not be able to get that covered under warrenty because it is a CPO car and they are supposed to replace everything if it is below 80% left? Thanks for the advice I appreciate it.

Unfortunatly, ALL Mercedes brakes squeak. There is no real solution, and depending on your service department, they might actually look or just send you away. Best of luck.

You could get some new pads, seeing how you're at 10k miles already and you have an E55 I think new pads should be in the pipeline soon

You need to chamfer the pads on the leading edge. Stops squealing brakes most of the time.
