Can PS2's cause wheel hop

I finally got my car back from having the Renntech ECU, Pulley and headers installed. I knew I would have traction problems with the Conti's so I decided to put on some PS2. Drove the car for about 2 miles and punched it at 50 miles per hour. All of a sudden, my ESP light is flickering and I can feel the wheels hopping. The last time I felt this was when I was at the Porchse dealership about to buy a brand new 911S. The dealer let me take it for a spin and I tried to launch the vehicle from a standing stop. Wheel hopped all over the place. The dealer said it was due to the road surface. I am now wondering if it is the tires. (I believe Porsches come with PS2s) I didn't have any work done on my differential, however I did get a wheel alignment. Anyone have any experience with this?

haven't heard many complaints about the PS2's being out of round... most say the replace the conti's with the PS2's and are much happier with them....

My PS2s are wearing and I get wheel hop with K2 and LSD. The Dealer couldn't fing anything wrong with the car to cause the hop. They suggested the tires.
