E55 For Sale?

Okay.... so I just realized I made a terrible mistake selling my Kleemann C55K S7. I'm seriously considering buying either a CLS55 or E55 and sending it over to Kleemann.

1) Is anyone here selling thier stock or Kleemann E55?

2) If not, can you guys help me find a good deal on one and/or give me an idea of what I should expect to pay for one?

Thanks, Josh

I have been talking to John at Manhattan motor cars in NYC about some cars he has and he said he has a local guy with a 2004 E55 with kleemann mods at 23k miles talking about trading it in. You may want to give him a call and grab that car.

05 E55 Pewter K3 w/ LSD
I am selling my 05 e55 pewter w/black interior. Still under warranty, I have a great relationship with the mb dealer so warranty is no problem with the kleemann upgrades. Under 2800 miles Kleemann k3 w/LSD installed by cory in Colorado. I have 19'' momo fxl centers were painted to match pewter body paint w/ps2 on them and will include standard wheels with the contis. And will include all original parts if you wish to go back to standards. The car is a beast and dynod at 500 RWHP which would be around 610 at crank. My new car is coming sooner than I thought. You Can Email me if you are interested and I can take some pics for you. My new car is arriving in August so I will take best offer until then. I figure I have about $115,000 in it.

Thanks,
Gianni

Duane's price is right on the nose for wholesale pricing. Since there were huge discounts on new E55's, there's been a slow trickle-down effect on the resale prices of the other cars. The newer models take a bigger hit while the older models are holding their values.

2005 E55
04/18/06 NEVADA Regular $58,750 17,334 Below BLACK 8G A No
05/09/06 FAAO Regular $60,500 16,388 Avg BLACK 8G A Yes
04/20/06 MANHEIM Regular $61,750 15,185 Avg SILVER 8G A Yes
04/06/06 MANHEIM Regular $61,900 25,639 Avg SILVER 8G No
05/04/06 MANHEIM Regular $62,700 11,518 Avg GREY 8G Yes
04/20/06 MANHEIM Regular $64,500 14,165 Avg SILVER 8G A Yes

2004
04/12/06 W PALM Regular $62,800 15,880 Avg BLACK 8G A Yes
04/12/06 W PALM Regular $60,500 19,030 Avg BLACK 8G A Yes
04/14/06 LAUD/MIA Lease $57,700 35,661 Avg BLACK 8G A No
04/18/06 NEVADA Regular $51,500 39,434 Below BLACK 8G A No
04/25/06 BIG H Regular $50,000 14,902 Below Silver 8G Yes
04/27/06 RIVRSIDE Lease $59,250 26,673 Avg BRIL SIL 8G A Yes
05/04/06 MANHEIM Regular $58,500 22,315 Avg Grey 8G Yes

2003
03/02/06 RIVRSIDE Lease $54,000 30,565 Above BLACK 8G A Yes
03/21/06 DFW Lease $44,000 57,460 Above BRI SIL 8G S No
03/30/06 RIVRSIDE Lease $41,000 45,521 Above BLACK 8G A No
04/05/06 ATLANTA Regular $53,300 33,356 Above SILVER 8G A Yes
04/20/06 MANHEIM Regular $46,500 35,357 Above SILVER 8G No
04/27/06 RIVRSIDE Regular $46,000 44,009 Above BLACK 8G A No

As you can see, prices are all over the board. Due to limited production and the relative "rareness" of the car at auctions, prices go from absurdly cheap to overpriced. This is just wholesale pricing. You should be purchasing/selling for 5-10% above the listed price.

Damn, maybe I should have gone to Manheim and bought a used '05...Of course, trying to find color/options is a complete crapshoot.

Yep, with limited production models, you have to be flexible with the color and options. Or maybe you'll get really lucky.

jl88, are those quotes something you have access to through a friend, or because you are a dealer, or is there a cool place to go look up the latest auction prices on any specific car? If I can access it, I'd love to know that site.

Actually, the lease deals may not work out nearly as bad as buying a new one outright. When you add up my resid value to the sum of my lease payments, you get a number that's ~$5 thousand UNDER the sticker price of the car. Take into account the present value of the lease payments and it's like getting an interest free loan for 2.5 years on the car.

I agree w/you. The recent MB E55 lease is awesome, they moved tons of E55s all across the country...

Selling 03 E55 with k4 mods........ecu/pully upgrade, headers, throttle bodies,lsd...car makes 500rwhp/640ft lb tq.I since then add cams, the car is now really a beast.I sent a copy of the dyno sheet to Corey at kleeman and he said that the most torque he has ever seen.......cant wait to see what it will make on the dyno with the cam installed. The car has so much torque that even with the esp on the car spins excessively.I had the MB tech do a scan and they said the car had so much torque that the computer puts it in overload.......which means i make more than 640ft lb tq......the computer just cut it back to save the tranny.
Speaking of heat, the car runs much cooler since i install the Johnson pump, have the dealer programme that 10c to turn the fan on earlier, and had that technical bulletin downloaded......then had Kleemann re-programme my ecu........intrested party call me at 704 200 8303
