Did any of you race an Enzo this morning ?
The Enzo (driven by a kid !!) raced a Mercedes on PCH this morning.
End result ? 1-2. That mean the Enzo turn from one car to two piece.

What I can't figure out is why the driver fled the scene and left his injured passenger behind to answer all the questions???? Did he really think they could not track him down???? 
I mean he was driving an Enzo for Christ sake!!! Pretty easy to figure out who owned it. What an idiot.
I am glad no one was seriously hurt though. They should make him pay for the repair bill to get power back up in the area too! Think his insurance will pay up????
Edit:::: After reading a few articles, they say that the owner was not driving, yea, riiiiiiiight. Funny how there was blood on the drivers air bag and the owner was bloody. Is this an atempt to get his insurance to cover it???

Footage from the crash has just made it onto one of the national primetime news shows in Australia.
They said the driver was drunk and racing a Mercedes, who left the scene.

Quick question (like any of us have first hand experience)...but do you think the Enzo is a "punch it and lose control" kinda car on the straights.
You know how it is when you are in the heat of street racing.....I have banged the rev limiter many times not even realizing it. Then you toss in some alcohol. Wonder if the guy went to pass with it flat out and tail end just kicked out. We already have video of the Ferrari guy trying to do the burnout and just wiping it violently.
Just curious.
Man those crumple zone crashes are insane. Guess the horse is pretty safe as well. Thought we Benz guys were the only ones.
Bout any other car and the guy would have been toast after hitting a pole at that speed.

Whether the insurance will pay or not, unlikely that the owner will even be bothered to think about it. If you have nothing better to do than go on PCH (anyone who has driven there can attest to the fact that it's not in too good shape) and drag race your million dollar mobile, then you probably didn't sweat too much earning the money to buy it...
He should have invested in renting a race track for a few months, perhaps then he could have let his driver practice a bit.
Too bad about the folks that lost power....
