that would be awesome if the E63 has a supercharged engine but i don't know how reliable that article is b/c it was written May 5, 2005 -- almost a year ago

Yeah true, but seems on the money so far. Facelift will launch soon and new AMG boss did mention turbs on V8's were the future of AMG.

The big question is will the turby V8 be a super special edition like E65. They would have to bump all higher end Benz's up quite a lot if they were gonna give us E guys 571. They like to keep the 150K+ guys happily ahead of us 90K'rs (604hp 12's VS our 476/490 8's).

Keeping fingers crossed.

I cant believe they will s/c the 6.3L motor ... emissions, weight, engine design....

It all points to a high revving hjigh capcity N/A motor. I still reckon the turbo versions will be of the 65 V12 variety.

Here is the real info on the 63 engine. It will be introduced in Geneva in March in addition to other models than the current ML 63, the CL and CLK. However, I dont know why the E63 isn't there? I would think the engine will be the same as in the CLS.

I'm hoping for the TT E63, it just doesent make sense to sell my W211 E55 for this minor change in this powerplant. I may have to take back my deposit as soon as the real story is out if it is a N/A powerplant.

Why would they put a 6.3 N/A in a CLS and TT in the E-Class??
If the press release (the "real story")on the CLS63 isn't enough to convince you folks there is no E63 with TT, then I don't know what is.
