i got invited and went to the grand opening party of the amg private lounge last year at ray catena where they also unveiled the slk55 and talked all about the website and the amg prez from germany talked about some other jibber jabber. if you do a search, im almost positive i posted pics on here from it.

Ya its a cool site........not to mention a pretty cool way to verify if people who say they own an AMG on this site really do own one. I have recognized a few names from this site........just saw Ray canales talking about the infamous "Renntech credit option" LOL.....

Yes the site is very nice. I'm wondering however, what if the vin does not match with the name on record will it still work? My reason for asking is, if it does still work then anyone can copy a vin and get on the site.

I'm pretty sure that when I signed up the website already had my name and other info.........they more than likely have some sort of safeguard so there will only be one membership per car/ per owner.

I signed up earlier today...Since my purchase was so recent my name/VIN was not on record with Mercedes . I called and they put me right in and will send me my very own recall notices now

I have to tell you folk - when I first heard about the "PRIVATE LOUNGE" I thought it was some nice Club Room type lounge at the dealership. I'm semi-dissappointed.
