Suspension stiffness setting

sorry for asking thisvery dumb question.... On the suspension setting button located on the lower part of the shift penal. does 3 red LED's indicate that the suspension is at its stiffest setting or softest? thanks,

Nope, there are only two lights on the Airmatic Suspension button:
No lights: Comfort
1 Light: Sport 1
2 Lights: Sport 2

Right, there should only be 2 lights. Is the 3rd light you're referring located to the left of the other 2 lights? If so, that is used to raise you car for driveways, speedbumps, etc

That is correct, but technically you did not answer his question, thus offered no satisfaction

Sports 2 = 2 lights, is the stiffest, with the least pitching and body roll.
At the opposite end of the scale, Comfort= NO lights, will give you a limo-type ride, but you and you passengers might get sea sick, so keep the
"barf-bags" handy

Cool. Thanks for solving my mystery. I havne't driven my E55 enough... It's parked in a different bldg, so I only get to drive it every other week.
