Quaife LSD

Has anyone installed this yet? I am considering one for my 06 E55 K1 and I would appreciate any feedback.

retails for 1795

will report on how it works in a 400 hp C32 after wed. march 8th.

Off to Willow Springs International Raceway for some LSD testing!

On the streets it has proven to be a massive upgrade and hope this carries over to the track.

If it keeps working well my E55 might just need one as well.

Thanks for the info. On the street are you getting better launches? Any down side for street use or all positive results?

The car is far more stable under power and traction is far better than before. The big difference is you can roll onto the gas when making right and left turns without the car totally bogging down with ESP making your get away very slow. WIth ESP off the car now drifts nicely and you have far more control so you can actually have some fun while powering out of corners without having visions of smushed up AMG off in the bushes.

I hope the LSD allows the car to power out of corners at the track and that it does not cause more understeer in an already understeer prone car. Only 5 days until we see how it really drives. SMGC32 and I will have a full report about the diff after the track event.

Stay tuned

I too am interested in this LSD. Hopefully the weather at Willow next week allows you to get a feel for it.
