2006 E55 Mods

I have a 2006 E55 with the Kleemann ECU and Pulley. I am considering the following and would like your opinions:

Evosport Headers
Evosport cooling package
Evosport brake rotors

Thanks!

1. I have the headers -- love 'em

2. I've heard very good things about the cooling package. You should also consider just an I/C pump upgrade (pump only). I guess it depends upon your own needs.

3. Heard nothing but great things about Evosport rotors. Wish that I had them.

I would suggest staying with all Kleemann since you have ECU & Pulley. Not a big fan of mixing and matching tuners. If issues comes up in the future it will be much easier to find out the problem.

Both great companies

Nope. I've just been really please with their Evosport Stages I & II. Also, their shop is only about 20-30 minutes from me, so I spent some time there during the installs. Good guys.

Do a search on their cooling package. It seems as though everyone has been pleased with it. The only other current option (it seems) is to get a pump transplant (upgrade the pump only). That's why I suggested you looking into the "pump only" option. Depending what you do with your car (race only occasionally, like me), the "pump only" may be the way to go. I actually still have my stock pump.

As to the rotors, I have no personal experience with them. Do a search on them. Several people speak highly of them. I think Victor (vrus) just gave a favorable write-up about them.

Evo Sport I & II

I am thinking about getting the Evo Sport stage I & II install. Stage I is about $3600 & Stage II is $2700 with approximately $1300 in labor for both. Do these figures sound right? Or Kleemann / Brabus / Rentech a better route to go? Input / recommendation please...

Pricing on the parts is correct and the overall pricing (labor included) seems to be in the ballpark, based on my memory.

I would like to buy the EvoSport rotors... wish they would discount the price a little. $1,999 is rather expensive for just the rotors. I would like to see them around $1,500. I think that would be fair.
