Black flat hood emblem installed (PICS)
I know a lot of you have installed the flat classic AMG hood emblem but I have yet to see one of these black AMG emblems on our cars. I picked one up from formymercedes.com. It takes just a couple on minutes to install and it fits nicely. I did buy a $.69 washer to create a better seal. A few pictures of the product.
One other note. Do not get the classic AMG emblem from formymercedes.com unless you want to glue it on.

I went to Formymercedes.com he is about 30 minutes from me. I put that emblem on the Tectite Grey and didn't like it. I did silicone on the classic, fits perfect.
I do like the black emblem on the silver, looks great.

What is the "classic"? I got the one from Mario, and it is MINT! No glue, though. I didn't even think of the black one with AMG on it. It will match those HREs nicely. It may have looked nice on my black ride, as well. Hmmmm. Maybe I should get one and keep it for the switch up??

Classic is the colored emblem. The one I glued on is of very high quality and cost $49.00. I am very satisfied with it. The Black one is $39.00.

It looks good! I currently have the multi-colored one on the car but I will probably switch to that one when I get my black wheels.
