V1 Hardwire
Is it possible to find a "switched" wire from the headliner area (i.e. overhead lights, rear-view mirror)?
I was just thinking of powering the unit (without remote display).
Looking at the pictures, it seems very cumbersome to draw the power from the ashtray area if I just want the V1 installed by the mirror...

I've read some threads where people tried to find switched 12v in the headliner but to no avail. The E is a strange beast and there actually are very few options for switched 12v. Many wires are switched but aren't 12v.
