Best Lowering Module?
I am interested in a good lowering module for my car. I have found a couple and here are my picks.
Kleemann
Airmatic Control Unit Chassis: W211,S211
$2,100.00
Brabus
Airmatic Lowering Kit Chassis: W211,S211
$1,495.00
Lorinser
Airmatic Lowering Kit Chassis: W211,S211
$449.00
Note: I am leaning more to the lorinser because of the price but any recommendation would be great. P.S also are they easy to install?

H&R also make a module (ETS) which drops car by 35-40mm... around £800 in the UK, uninstalled.

These all are a complete waste of money! You can lower your car via Star Diagnostics to any level. Most dealers will charge 1.5 hours to reset your ride height to anything you really want and the auto level and ride height adjustment will still work fine, etc. They can also check the geometry of your new settings and enter it into the onboard computer. These modules are a money making gimmick! They may work, but you do not need them.

You can lower it down to the bump stops if you want, and if you reset the system to retain the settings, it will save the settings and it works fine. You may want to talk to a (cooperative) real MB Tech before dropping a few grand.
I witnessed it today and saw it with my own 2 eyes and talked to a master tech and he confirmed as he was doing it. He laughed and said he could not believe people were paying a few grand for something that he can set in a few minutes.

I actually got the Renntech Module because it is the only one my dealer is willing to install and also leave my warranty in place. The module doesnt drop that much but it is okay because I dont want that much of a drop any way because streets here are way to bumby and rough.
