nice choice on the D-SLR..
i have a lower model D70s and D50, and I used an external flash for both...
during cloudy days or even when you want a bit more flare to your pics, use the external flash and it will give you a different feel and look
D2x is an awsome body!
did you buy any of the long or wide lenses?

AF-S VR 70-200 f2.8
I am thinking about a 10.5 Fisheye, a 105 Micro, and maybe a 200-400. I really do not have a need for either one, so I will wait for now. Actually, I don't have a real need for any of this stuff, I just like toys. You know where I am coming from.

UT San Antonio. I didn't get into UT Austin..?
I got past the preliminary BHP selection process, yet I was denied acceptence into UT Austin although my SAT score is a considerate amount above their average. I am truely baffled. I am looking to transfer sophomore year to the Austin campus.

I will give the text tool another try later. That was my first time to use it and I was more or less playing around. I don't use PS enough to get very proficient at it. Just too busy, I guess.
Well congrats on UT San Antonio. A year there might be a good thing. That way, you will get to know SA and Austin. SA is a nice place and I am sure you won't mind spending a year there. I would think that you will be able to transfer without any problems. I bet that one contributing factor to not getting into Austin is the policy of the top 10% having a priority acceptance. So, some kid from Podunk Junction could go to a school where the majority of the students are very mediocre, so being in the top 10% would not mean much when compared to your school. It doesn't matter, though. He gets to go where he wants. Not right, but fact. Enough of them wanting to go to UT and the good students are left out. The good thing is they will probably not make it to the 2nd year, and then you will have a chance at getting in.
Did the 2 admins tell you about the short test ride in my car? If not, I will send you a PM or email. They enjoyed the gett'em up go of the AMG.

Superb pics. I actually might have mistaken them for professional pics marketed by MB itself, or by a car review magazine or something. Again, great job. The D2X is a great camera, but it is only as good as the photographer using it.
